Join the Revolution

Pyxelbox is a call to those who are listening. Pyxelbox requires commitment, and loyalty. The movement of Pyxelbox is neither for the cowardly, nor the faint hearted. It is for those willing to jump head first into the trenches, and those willing to go to battle against corporate giants where others run. It is about bringing entertainment and amusement to those who have marginalized and maligned by the network corporate overloads that don’t raise entertainment to what it could be. Pyxelbox is bringing freedom for those in television captivity! Pyxelbox is about fighting with the aim of making entertainment better for fans while combating the money hungry network corporate overloads that every year lowers the quality of the programs they are presenting. Our enemy is relentless and we at Pyxelbox must be the same.

Pyxelbox is about change. It is time for the people and fans of entertainment to rise out of our complacency and truly claim what we deserve. It is time for people to wake up and realize the war we are waging is at hand. It is time for us to break the shackles of corporate domination and command, help those in need with education and support, love those of differing opinions and attitudes even though they may not be “mainstream”, and take a bold stand for change when others are too afraid or not willing to do it themselves.

Pyxelbox is freedom from the tyranny of television.

Move Your Money

This is a brilliant idea, so I'm passing it along: A movement underway trying to convince Americans to hold accountable the mega-banks that got us into this economic mess, and yet are supposedly "too big to fail" (which conveniently lets them off the hook for playing roulette with the world economy), by moving our money from accounts in those banks, to small, locally-owned banks that had no part in the meltdown (or the ridiculous bailout payments). Watch the video:

...and then visit MoveYourMoney.info to find high-rated locally-owned banks near you.

The many uses of green screen virtual backlot demo video

Fox, Time Warner Feud Could Black Out Cable Viewers

Fox is loosing viewers to the internet by the dozens each and every day due to the low qualiity of their programming and what does Fox do?  Threaten to leavve Time Warner if they don't pay them more money for their programs. Read about it here!!! Holding customers hostage is never a good way to do business.  I think Boxee will be glad with this.

Alec Balwin's greatest scene...PERIOD in less than 8 minutes

Don't you wish you could do a scene like that.  The better question is why aren't you doing a scene like that?  Get back to work...

New Star Trek MMO Trailer

Interviewing a Back End Web Developer...

Right now I have been talking to several developer to help with the creation of the Pyxelbox website.  Since it will be data intensive I want to make use that we can do a lot of things with the information that we get.  I want the people who publish content for the site to have a lot of access to the stats and what is going on in realtime.  That will be good for us.  Hope this goes well.

FearNet's Fear Clinic Trailer

This is exactly the kind of thing we want to see on Pyxelbox in the future.  A series build from the web, for the web.  They have a new webisode serial coming out called Zombie Roadkill starring Thomas Haden Church stars as a park ranger who partners with a teen (David Dorfman) to escape a portion of highway where roadkill is resurrected as flesh-eating zombie animals.  Read more here!!!

Cashflow for Pyxelbox

The real big thing that I am focused on now with Pyxelbox is cashflow.  That is the life's blood of any business.  With an idea like Pyxelbox you have to really think about how much money you will need to keep the business basically afloat.  I am sure at first we are going to drain money like a fat kid sucking down Mountain Dew.   What that number in dollars is I am not sure, but I will say that I am going to find out, the hard way.  So if you are looking to advertising your product, well we want to talk to you.  Hope to hear from you soon.

The first step...

Just keeping you up to date, we have purchased the dot com name Pyxelbox.com, Pyxelbox.net and Pyxelbox.org so we are covered if anyone tries to fake what we are planning.  So at least that part is done.  Now I have to start work on recruiting to the cause.  Wish me luck.  Talk to you later.
